An Analytical Research of the Cardiovascular Endurance between Athletes and Non-Athletes by Bicycle Ergometer

Abstract
The subjects were 16 people who include 8 athletes of K university and 8 non-atheletes. The purpose of this comparative analytical research take an accurate measurement in addition to physical work capacity, change of heart rate, maximum oxygen uptake by bicycle ergometer.
1. The physical work capacity is 1137.27 kpm/min in athletes and 852.18 kpm/min in non-athletes, and that of athletes if higher about 285.09 kpm/min.
2. The heart rate in the rest is 64.64 beats/min in athletes and 73.57 beat/min in non-athletes, and that of athletes in lower about 8.93 beats/min. In the increase of heart rate during the exercise, the former is lower than the latter in the heart rate and the rate of increase, athletes and non-athletes have increase cause 2 min after the exercise. The recovery of heart rate after the exercise was more rapid in athletes than in non-athletes. The rate of recovery course 2 min after the exercise was recovered rapidly 40.07% in athletes and 63.77% in non-athletes. The resting level was rested in 20 min by 5.91% in athletes, but was rested slowly by 23.9% in non-athletes.
3. The maximum Oxygen uptake if 4.14 1 /min or 58.88 ml/kg/min in athletes and 2.71 1 /min or 42.34 ml/kg/min in non-athletes, those of athletes if higher about 1.43 1 /min or 16.54 ml/kg/min.
